Blackie and Bodey update- if anyone is interested?!?

Well i'm on dial-up so this may take awhile, bring back my laptop and broadband all is forgiven (hopefully at the end of the month!).

Well Blackie has been sold (subject to vetting which is on Thursday), so fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. They are a lovely family, quite novice but with a great instructor. I will really miss him but it means that Gina (GinaGem) can find something really nice now.

And Bodey, well what can I say, he is everything and more I could have hoped for. I think he has been backed for about 6 weeks now, i still can't believe I backed him myself. We are trotting shapes in the school, haven't attempted canter yet but I don't think it will be long. Walking out on the road. I even got on all on my own tonight with no one around. We are really getting to know each other and I already feel very safe and comfortable on him. He isn't 4 until june so we are still going to take things very slowly!

aww that's good Blackie has gone to a new home (hopefully!)and i'm sure they'll love him coz he's gorgeous!

Bodey is gorgeous too! can't beat a good cob eh?

Oh thanks. I must get some more updated photos of Bodey as he is looking less cob like now he has had his footies clipped and his mane shortened. Next year he is def going to be fully clipped!!!!

Well done backing your boy, that is a brilliant achievement and it is great to hear you progressing so well, very inspiring. My boy may be backed late this summer so I may be calling on you for help and confidence boosting!!!!

Hey Jo! Hope all goes ok on Thursday! Are the family who are having Blackie local to you? Wondered if they're going to keep in touch? We still hear from Alfie's new owner occasionally with how he's getting on!

Sounds like Bodey is coming on nicely what are your plans for him for the Summer? No trouble so far then?
