Well we put Blackie up for sale last Monday and we had a call saturday night for a family to see him Sunday. They seemed to like him and called not long after they left to say they wanted him! Will be sad to see him go but they were so lovely and i'm quite sure he will have a wonderful life with them. The daughter didn't stop cuddling him!!!

Here's a recent pic for anyone who hasn't read any of our posts:

Ah thanks. At one point they were debating whether he was too good for them because of how well schooled he was, he did do us proud! We know he has a lot of potential but as we said to them he won't care whether he just does hacking or not! The lady who he's for is a little nervous so he is perfect.

And so the warmblood hunt starts!!!

I'm so glad you have found him a good home! He is such a lovely guy - I'm sure they'll have lots of fun with him

It's Jo here, nicked Gina's computer! Gem is great, quite full of it at the moment but happy being a fun horse! I'm sure they will be lots of updates when Gina get's her new ned! (Just been told of for calling Gina's new horse a ned, apparentely it's going to be stylish horse, it better be for the money she is looking at paying!!!!)

PS, I'm now trotting Bodes all on my own, woo hoo!

Yep, that's the plan. Very exciting although also very tempting to spend more than i've got! Got to stop Jo coming back with another cob as well!!!

Well we spoke too soon by the looks of it - the buyers have just pulled out! They were supposed to be sorting the money out today so they could pick him up and they've just called to say the woman dosen't want a horse now! What a waste of a day!

I know! We (me and Gina) are really Disappointed, we really liked them as well! Oh well Blacks is so wonderful somebody out there must want him!

Going to take him out tonight for a good canter around the field! We know what they are missing!!!

Oh Gina/Jo, what a disappointment. He's clearly not going to be difficult to sell though, so don't be too gutted. Can you believe some people - so annoying.

awww what I wonderful horse

When my boyfriend and I are financially or sorted and I have my new dressage horse (I haven't had one since Dutchie) then I will buy him a horse just like your Blackie, a horse to be adored that is hopefully safe too!

My boyfriend met my first-owned pony Misty, and adored her straight away even though he had never had any contact with horses, I don't think he knew that it was because he had mints that she adored him back!

I am sure Blackie will be very well loved and cared for in his new home.
