Blackmail?!?

In brief
- bought item from large ebay store
- wrong item delivered
- posted item back on understanding based on (many tiresome) calls with them that I would be refunded both original cost and return postage
- they are now saying that I may only have a store credit in lieu of postage cost which I have no use for (which is, I think within their rights, but not what was agreed)
- left negative but factual feedback and they've replied accusing me of trying to blackmail them (what? how? they have the item and I'm out of pocket!)

Apologies but needed to vent!
I've never been accused of blackmail on a public forum before and it is surprisingly hurtful!

I suggest you set up a dispute, or what ever the correct procedure is through e-bay and try to resolve the problem that way. I think it's fairly easy. Good luck

Post again, stating you have made a complaint to Ebay and will be contacting Trading Standards. They broke the agreement made with you by sending the wrong item, you are entitled to a full refund including your postage costs.
