My bro-in-law is going to have a day with the B&SV at the end of October - can anyone recommend a good day (he's a country boy, stuck in London and lives for the odd day he gets).

Can you also recommend a good Gastro Pub in the area that he and my sister could stay in?

Any recommendations are hugely welcome x

a brilliant day is Ditcheat if he loves hedges, but not sure when that is
not sure on the pubs in that area maybe a search on google, no doutb he will have a good day where ever he goes with the BV!!! :grin:

Sadly it seems they're restricted as they have to come down in half term so I think he's out just before the opening meet. Will remember the tip off about Ditcheat though for when he next does a hunting tour. I used to hunt with the B&SV when I was at school and lived on a permanent adrenaline rush, had a brill horse and was pretty much unstoppable - such happy memories!

I used to hunt with the B&SV when I was at school and lived on a permanent adrenaline rush, had a brill horse and was pretty much unstoppable - such happy memories!

Me too Humph! Best hunt in the land, IMO. Hunted all sorts from small hairy ponies to much bigger horses and loved it, but not been out with them for years. I think quite a few people visit just to try out the hedges!
