Has anyone got any experience of these? One of my horses passed a couple of bladder stones 18 months ago, he's fit and well, but after exercise now he's weeing stained urine, and its obviously causing some discomfort.
The lab analysis states he has blood in his urine, protein and also carbonates, what I understand to be calcium crystals that are forming and basically tearing the lining whilst being expelled. Hence the blood. This is a fit and healthy horse, with no other signs of a problem. In canines i've found the condition can be controlled by feed, or rather not feeding what the body can't cope with! But after ringing two helplines, A&P and Top Spec, and neither bothering to ring me back saying they have or haven't got any ideas, i'm struggling.
Just wondered if anyone can enlighten me at all, or offer any thoughts? Cheers!
