Blair Castle Horse Trials

after all the Badminton posts its got me excited about blair. i'm going to see them at the end of August just wondering if anyone else was thinking about going? i know its a bit early but this will be the first time i've been to see anything like this and watching the xc today has put me in that sort of mind

Normally I go for a day every year.

claire - blair is a LOVELY event... and Thirlestane is well worth a visit too (near Kelso) as it holds the Scottish one-day champs and some other good classes, and not far for you to get to!

I love Blair, but I REALLY love Thirlestane - it has such a lovely atmosphere

Hopefully my daughter might qualify for the two star by doing a qualifying round at Osberton tomorrow - fingers crossed!

Yeah, Blair is a really nice event. Ill likely go one day to watch or possibly compete - haven't decided yet but not in the eventing, in either the showing (if I qualify by then) or BSJA.
