 Didn't take them long to come out did it, made it almost impossible to ride yesterday in the school, trying to canter a ginger pony that is shaking it's head all about and snorting everywhere, plus the deadstops to keep scrathing nose on knee was not pleasurable.:(
I am allready having to put anti flying stuff on his ears and around his eyes.

Today I fitted up his ladies tights over his nose for the first time this year, it's like riding a different pony, he cantered lovely out hacking :)
I had a box of Adsa 5 for £1.50 from last year in black, goes nice with his new black bridle ;)
This was last years look with grey tights

We were plagued with them today, when i was fetching in they were awful. I cannot believe how quickly they have arrived! Nothing seems to work fly repellent wise either...
Lovely pony btw very shiny too!!

Yes we're having horrific trouble with the little devils!! Ours seem to be suffering terribly, the poor Welsh Cob has bites over his sheath and in his ears...time to get out all the ammo!!

Our house has been like a fly cemetry the past few days. Fortunately not too many of them have made it out to the yard but the midges were out last night.

No flies here at the moment. Like the tights though ,great idea.
Just out of interest do you get some funny looks, while browsing the ladies underwear department ?? And if you were to tell them it was for your horse, would that make it worse. :D :D
