was meant to be going clear round jumping today, but cancelled due to weather, still, i had made the effort to get her in the trailer, so took her upto the downs parked up, unloaded and tacked up in a busy car park, full of hikers and a coach party, next to a busy road, she was a star and didn't bat an eyelid! we set off along a bridleway and onto the south downs way, mare was really walking out, please bear in mind this is the most unconfident nappy creature at the best of times
she had a couple of "moments" where she didn't want to walk past a wooden post but i got her over it in the end and a spook at a water trough, we met some cyclists and some dog walkers, all considerate people - miracle! but all in all i'm so very pleased with her!! will be boxing out more often now as i had forgotten how nice it is not to have to worry about roads etc, although i keep a look out for motor bikes!
didget soaked though but worth it!!
