I had to do a delivery to Blenheim Palace today , which was lovely and I just happened to get a little lost in the grounds and saw someone riding a horse through the park .I was very jealous as she looked so happy, what a lovely place to ride through

Is it the Duke of Marlborough who lives at Blenheim, have to look at the family tree and try and work out who it could be? Perhaps a Churchill?

It's a fascinating house to look around, especially if you are interested in Churchill, lots of stories about hunting and stuff.

The Duke doesnt well shouldnt ride anymore due to his hip.
His wife Im pretty sure rides. His grandson definitely rides, they have two ponies near the main gates.

It was a very big horse, dark bay .It was coming up to the part where they do the riding club showjumping at the horse trials and went through the gate going towards the pleasure garden. I then went right and over the lovely bridge and through a wood on the left to a lodge.I took my time.LOL

You certainly used to be able to get permits to ride in the park when I was a kid - but OMG that was 20 years ago now

Sounds a very grand school, yes my beautiful Lucky Lad who I bought straight from Ireland as a 4 year old, evented then took to P St. G. dressage then was offered a lot of money for him and sold him ,he continued having a lovely life but it broke my heart and I never got over it. Needed the money as hubby was out of work when factory he worked at went bust.

Its lovely over there, mum walks through the park daily in her lunch hour.

It would def have to be a groom or member of the family as he wouldnt let ppl ride through his estate.
