It will be interesting how a field that includes many mere mortals will cope with the course not significantly different from last years championship one. And none of this five and a half minute optimum time nonsense like at Hartpury either. Lets hope no major drama though.

Hartpury was 5 and half minutes because it was a CIC not a CCI.

Even for a CIC its a very short course at 3* level
Glad Blenheim is a true test, shoud be an interesting competition- maybe a lesser known rider will rise to the top....

TBPH I didnt think the championship course was that testing last year - maybe it was just me? many completed in awful condiditons! many more than I thought!

However, I dont think anything could match WEG - that was just plan strong!

Last years Blenheim was far tougher than it normally is, I think it is always significantly easier than burghley or Badminton. Those funny hedge jumps last year, that were early on were enourmous!!!

Its easier becasue its a 3star. Burghley and Badmington are 4star. Last year in had to be of 3star championship standard.
