There were whispers at Burghley today that Blenheim was going to be cancelled in light of the weather..... I think there might be an announcement tomorrow. Anyone know anything?

I have heard those whispers too. I believe the course was being inspected today.

It will be a complete diaster if its cancelled. Beokelo is only allowing 30 British competitors, and over sixty applied to enter, so god knows what would happen to all those entered at Blenheim.

My sis is grooming there and apparently they've been told to expect a last mintue decision, very up in air atm

I've be quite surprised if it was cancelled this far in advance. I'm a weather forecaster and though Tuesday will be quite wet yet again, the rest of this week should be settled and above all dry! I imagine the ground conditions will have improved markedly by the end of this week.

they are a bit tweaky about the park so i have heard it might happen it has rained on and off today and i know it rained for the europeans but it hadnt been wet for weeks before it. they ont want the park torn up like burghley was and they really ougth to decide before the trade stands all get there

Its going to be dry today. Im 5 miles from Blenheim and its sunny and warm atm.
We had a lot of rain again yesterday esp early morning but it was dry late afternoon and over night.
Due to be horrid again tomorrow.

Unless we have a week like we had over the weekend I cant see it cancelling.

Fridays weather doesn't look great, lets hope they get it wrong. They are expecting 43mm of rain for Notts area and a little less for Blenheim.......
