for a 12 yo 14.2hh with £252 BS winnings??? Do people really pay that much for an ordinary pony?

Ah well, I stand corrected!
I'm a bit out of the pony loop. So what would you be looking to pay for a 14.2 5yo with huge potential and great manners?
That little word ' potential'.
According to sellers they've all got potential but what you want for serious money is scores on the doors as they say.
I have to agree. As a buyer results are much easier to judge than potential. Also however nice a temperament a 5 year old may have, 5 is still young and needs bringing on which may not be ideal for a child rider. Therefore I would say 3-4k.
I think bit less tbh, sorrypaid that for my boy at 9yrs that had been there done it, but had had a year off, although that was 3 yrs ago, I might be way out the loop!!
I agree. There's a lot of good horses going for 3-4k atm, so for a 5yr old i'd say about 1.5-2k. Although it also depends on things like breeding etc.
Thats incredibly low IMO! My boy is up for nearer double that, is a safe fun 14hh 5yr old! I'd agree with the between £3-4k poster!
