Does anyone here ride with those little blinkers and do they find that they help their spooky horses focus a bit better?

before I buy some, reviews would be appreciated.

Haven’t tried blinkers however I see some people ride with sheepskin on their cheek pieces for this sort of thing too so might be worth looking in to!

I remember Alice Plunkett saying that one of William Fox Pitt's top eventers was so spooky he was hacked out wearing the point to pointer's blinkers.

OP I'm assuming you mean the little blocks that fit onto the cheekpieces, rather than proper blinkers? If so, then yes, my boss used to use them with a couple of horses when I worked as an SJ groom and they were very good at helping "looky" horses to concentrate. They wouldn't stop very spooky horses jumping at something unexpected, but were good for keeping them a bit more focused. They're also very unobtrusive and don't look bad added to the bridle.

Maybe I should try those. That said, impeding his vision in any way might make him worse. He thinks fly masks are designed for horse torture.

My first mare wore blinkers, as i had some attached to her noseband, now with this spooky mare I use equifeast calmer, which improves her 80%
