Ok getting a bit confused at to which way to go now..... story is:

Yearling getting bloated belly... out 24/7 and meadow grasses, wormed to date from birth with the correct products, no worms....

Belly goes from reasonable to large bloat.... He's on one feed a day of pony nuts and equijewel (as he was ribby too this has helped with regard to that)

He's not shown any colic signs and is healthy in himself, eats well and faeces aren't loose/too firm.

Should I try..... Probiotic/prebiotic? Brewers yeast? or anything else? Just don't want his belly getting quite so bloated!

not got any advise but one of our yearlings is similar. She is very bloated most of the time, but healthy otherwise. Fed hifi lite & gp supplement & access to salt lick. We arent sure what it is with her either, but she was neglected as a foal until she arrived with us at 4mths (was told she was 6mths, but as she was unhandled could check this!) so hers could relate to this.
Have you had a worm count done on him? or blood test for tapeworm?
