Bloated, breathing fast and burping?!

I have always been under the impression that horses can't burp. But when my horse comes off good pasture, he looks like hes going to drop a foal in the next week as well as his breathing rate increasing!
Pooing, eating and drinking fine. Not dull in himself..
What could this be?

He has been on good grass too long and gorged himself stupid. Be very careful you could be heading towards a colic.
