My 2 year old generally always looks bloated unless there is hardly any grass. Any time there s a change in the grass he gets very runny droppings. Have put him on yea sacc which has improved his droppings a lot, although not perfect like my other horse. Still looks very bloated though. Worm counts consistently clear and regularly dosed for tape worm and encycted worms. He is always very bright and lively and never seems uncomfortable. Out 24/7 and gets one feed of Pure fibre balance with extra yea sacc. Tried fennel and it made no difference, so considering trying charcoal. Any preference on brand - happy tummy or gas ease? Or anything else to try? Is it worth getting a blood test! What would they be looking for?

It's nothing new, he's always been prone to bloating since I got him as a weanling with any change in grass. Vets have seen him for vaccs as well as a rig op and never thought it was an issue - they've been in to retrieve the rogue testicle so have seen inside too

My cob gets very bloated on a lot of grass. I bring him in for a bit if I can . I also like to put dried mint in his feed and have also used yea sacc in the past. Happy tummy is also great, ill get some moreminnthe spring.
