I’ve got a fairly new horse. He came from being turned out and rugged. I full clipped and left saddle patch. A few weeks into work and he’s got some blocked pores forming lumps under saddle area.
I’ve clipped Saddle patch off and hot clothed area. There are quite a few lumps / bumps. Don’t feel painful but I’m not sure how best to clear up.
i think there was deep seated grease in the unclipped saddle Patch as cause. He has clean saddle cloths and rug liners.
As it’s winter I don’t want to be shampooing but wondered what non rinse washes might help clear it up. Or other ideas?
Thanks
