Blood in poo

My little scotty has got abit of a dodgy tummy at the moment and theres quite abit of blood in his poo :0(

He seems fine in himself and eating normally, but Im abit concerned.

I'm no expert but if the blood is bright red I wouldn't worry too much, could be a pile or something, if its dark red I'd get to vets. If any blood is being passed over longer than a couple of days I'd go to vet for peace of mind.

could be colitis - darkness of blood shows where it came from...
but tbh from what you've said i'd assume its to do with his dodgy tummy and keep him on v bland food for a week or so... boiled chicken and rice is good for bad tummys

I'd get to the vets personally just to be on the safe side, or even just phone them to ask advice.

Colitis, I would think caused by inflammation of the bowel, which would coincide with dicky tummy, you can either keep a close eye on him or have a chat to the vet, is his faeces solid?

They werent solid yesterday! But they do look abit more normal today.

My boy has a bit of a dicky tummy too iv put it down to the hot weather. Hes seems to be fine in all other ways
