Blood tests tomorrow

Following in from my post about my mare still not being right after I the of rehab work, last week I clipped her out as she was so fluffy and hot and she was awful to do her underneath and usually she is perfect, I had to twitch her to get her body finished but then she stood like a diamond no head collar or twitch whilst I clipped out her head. I messaged my vet about this and she’s coming tomorrow to take blood, something is not right with her and hasn’t been for months. If you didn’t know her you wouldn’t know something is wrong but I’ve had her from 3yo, she’s now 12yo and I know her inside out, upside down and backwards ?

Sorry to hear she's not right. Hope you get some answers soon. Could the pain/stress from the previous injury have caused ulcers? The tummy sensitivity seems to point towards something like that.

I think that’s why the vet wants blood to start ruling things out and I’ve started her on soothe and gain just in case

Well had to cancel the vet as my dad fell over and broke his pelvis, had to get him sorted and will re book the vet tomorrow ?

Bad stuff happening is bad enough, it really doesn't need to happen in clusters. Hope it goes as well as possible with both your dad, and your mare.
