Blood tests

My horse had blood tests and fluid withdrawn from some lumps in his throat on Friday.

How long does it usually take to get the results back? I am getting a bit concerned now.

I think it varies. I am still waiting for 2 results from blood tests taken on the 28th july. apparently the labs wait for there to be enough samples before testing.

It does vary, one lot I had done on my old boy a few years back took about a fortnight to come back wheras my mare had tests done earlier this year and they were back within 3 days.

i had blood tests done monday and they were back wednesday. it all depends on what bloods they are screening for!
