Good Evening,

I was just wondering what to expect during a bloodhound exercise meet?

The meet would be with the Farmers Bloodhounds and would be my first mounted experience of riding with hounds so its an incredibly exciting prospect.

I am specifically wondering what sort of levels of activity would I expect? Mainly walking/trotting or mainly canter work? Would the jumping be optional? Their website suggests a quiet hack lasting about 1.5 hours so I am just wondering what that means in reality :)

Thank you in advance

I'm hoping to go out with the Readyfield so would be interested in others replies too. I've been told that in theory it should be mostly walk and trot. The Readyfield say there's is optional jumping on their website, I'd imagine yours would be similar?
