Thinking of going bloodhounding but not sure what to expect in relation to height of jumps, is there an option to go round them? Would like to take a 5 yo TB she is an ex-racer but quiet although hasn't done much jumping bar a bit of coloured polework in the school. Would it be ok to take her or should I take something that's already jumped a fair bit?

Who were you thinking of going with? I hunted with a bloodhound pack last season and all season came across 2 fences that had to be jumped, one was on a loop so you could sit that bit out, the other was approx 2'6" ish.
Give them a call and ask which meet would be most suitable for her. If you fancy popping a few fences when you get there find someone to give you a lead, there's always one who gets the approach to every fence spot on and jumps beautifully (i'm not jealous honest!) if you can follow them in you'll be sorted. :)
