Can anyone tell me who the Bloodhound pack are who hunt areas of Shropshire with hunt staff in green livery? Do they have a website and fixture list, do you know?

Thanks!

Do not know of the packs.
If they are wearing Green Livery, it is highly probable that they were originally a Harrier Pack, who always wear Green.
However, regarding fox-hound packs, the Beaufort wear Green - and the Gelligaer, owing to a great deal of their country being (currently/previously) owned by The D of B.

I go out with them, they're really friendly and the field is quite small so we all tend to know each other. Are you thinking of coming?

Yes I was invited to by the master, who is sometimes out with the Cheshire Farmers. I was trying to find a meet where it was close to home when the CFDH are meeting somewhere that I wouldn't mind missing. I'd love to compare drag and clean boot and also I have heard that you are very friendly!

I presume you mean the Field Master, Rik?

He's great, as are the Master of the Hounds too. Some pictures of us at various meets on the Pedderz site.

We're meeting at Endon Riding School this weekend but have meets lined up shortly, weather permitting, in Audlem and Isycoed.

Our Boxing Day meet is at The Horseshoe Inn, Tilstock (which might be closer to you).

Come along! They are, as maggiesmum says, a fab bunch and will treat you like a dear old hunting buddy they've known for years.
