Was riding today, walking off old mare. She suddenly starts getting anxious and trying to go home and smelling my foot...Made her walk to the point I wanted and then she swiftly walked home. Got off and she rushes into the stable looking anxious again. Starts digging at the bed fully tacked up and looking at me. Un tack her, she is still anxious...

I leave her to see what she wants to do.....
She needed a giant pee.

Was very happy after that. But I was there thinking the bloody worst! Such a overreacting mare.

Need to get portashavings around the yard for the old lady.
I was just dead worried something was up with her. Since she's been out of work most of the week due to me being ill.

Haha, actually had to google it to see what one was. She isn't always peeing just obviously when she needs one it's a huge deal. We've got a gelding that just whips it out at any opportunity though. But guess she's too dignified for that.

In the 10 years I've owned my lad he's pee'd out on a ride only twice! It would seem that it's only the sort of thing you do in the privacy of your own stable or the field . He looks in disgust at any horse that does otherwise!

Hahaha, she's never peeded outside since ive had her. Gelding has only started embrassing the cold air on his boy bits recently. However pooing in the middle of the yard is a fantastic past time for all....

Mine always has a wee in the field when he sees me driving in, he must be preparing!

He then does psuedo wees, and strikes a pose when I'm bringing him in, just so he can delay work and try to have some more grass

Star has NEVER pee'd outside in the 10 years I've owned her.

Even when we have been to a show, she waits for the privacy of the trailer before letting go.... Niagra Falls before we come home from every show :D
