So last night was possibly the best myself and my mare have done in a lesson since I've had her, she went AMAZING!

Roll on todays lesson.. All fine for first 20 mins - great canter work ! Then roll on a horse in the yard whinning, normally she will just whinny back - today she chose to whinny back and buck, snort, and try to tank off, wtf - then we were working on getting a contact and tried more funny business! She was distracted by something even though we were in the indoor! ! Obviously rode her threw the tantrums but can't understand how she did a full 360 in 24 hrs!! Anyone elses horse acting like a **** at the moment?
 
Glad im not the only one.

Lunging tonight was more like "lets go nuts and just go round and round and round ... oh now lets change rein without asking the guy lunging ... and go round and round ... lets put in a buck and a stupid canter and go round and round ..." :confused:

Oh well, she is exercised thats the main thing ... will ride tomorrow and see how we go :D

how is your mare doing? settling down a bit?
 
Same boat here!

Hacked around 5 miles on the 1st, schooled for 35mins on the second another 5 mile hack yesterday.....

Today I decided to school for ten mins before jumping tomorrow.

:| my mare had other ideas spooking/shooting off for a good 30 mins before she settled.....hopefully she behaves tomorrow!!

Yep, my lunatic stood in the barn all morning, two mins after we went in the field to poo pick he decided to brave the mud and join us, as soon as the mare came out, they had a roll then he started charging around bucking, herding the arthritic mare for about 15 mins, on a very muddy, very slippy sloping field, all we could do was get out the field and hope neither went down, he was sweating up and puffing like an old man, stupid creature
