Went up to do my horse this morning and find her in the half of the paddock which i resting, so grab her and put her back in the other half and give her some hay.
Just had a phone call fom YM to say that my horse is in with her 2!!!!!!, so that means that she must of jumped over 4 1/2 ft high double fencing with tape in the middle!!!!

They are all quite happily grazing so just about to shoot up there and see what the damage is x.

Got the same problem. They are a nightmare when they don't respect the fencing. My 2 yr old has decided that the other 2 yr old she's with isn't enough. For the past week she has been getting out into other fields, between back fencing, breaking the electric fence and apparently was seen by another livery on the floor under the electric fence half way between 2 fields.
Well she has now finally managed to cut her leg and has had to have it stitched so is now in for a while. this is 6 weeks after she managed to fracture her mandible!!

Well got up there and all the fencing is still intacked so she must of jumped over, the only thing is, is that the YM moved her horses into the other paddock late this morning and the fence dividing that field from hers is taller then me and im 5ft 5", it just really worries me now as its doubled fenced with electric tape and knowing my luck she will get her leg caught and cut herself to pieces with it

!!
Tried putting her out with the horse across from her but he cantered over to her and she pooed herself and jumped out of there

.
She has never done anything like this before and the only reason I can think of her doing it is that she has took a real shine to the YM mare, they are hacking buddies, YM said to leave her out with her 2 but after watching them for 30 mins it was clear that my mare was keeping the YM gelding away from her mare and as he is getting on a bit(he is 27) we were a bit worried he would get stressed.
Put her back into her field and she just stood in the corner looking into thier field. That was at about 1.30 just went back up to check and she is still in same corner and there marks from where she has been pawing the ground!!

Oh what to do?? I might have to end up buying her a sheep lol but she is pertrified of them too

!!!!!!!!

Could she go in with the YM mare and put the gelding in with something else?
It is a worry as I've seen some horrific injuries from being tangled in fencing.

The YM horses have been together for about 10 yrs so it would be ashame to split them up. He would get so stressed too that it would'nt be worth it x.

Horses can be so naughty!!!!! You have got to do something about it though a friend of mines horse had 2 be put down for trying to jump the fence, his leg got tangled and he paniced and ended up snapping it.
