Has only gone and lost a front shoe and farrier cannot get out to me!
Have rung Venetia (sec) and she said there will be a farrier there thank god. Guess I will be out searching a 15 acre field for a shoe.

Why do we have them? I have just decided not to tell mine when there is a competition....and to turn up on the day, drag them out of the box and go.

It must be the ground, Diamond after box rest for a whole year is now out in the day wearing special shoes at £72 a PAIR..
Today she managed to pull one off (her other front thank goodness not the one with the grown down crack) and the farrier came and put one back one. She had to make one, hers is somewhere out in the field too. **** horses indeed!
 
No luck for shoe hunt my mother even came out to help me look for it! Bloody big fields we do not have any little ones.
So going to Aldon with 3 shoes. Typical have had a rotten day and hoping farrier will sort me out on site.
 
Boody animals. Jonno, who is based n Keynsham is really cool and will make a real effort to get to you. if it happens again, call me I'll give you his number.
Good luck findng the farrier, sure you'll be ok, he can do shoe while you walk course. Good luck and have fun!
 
Ian is a fab farrier would never use anyone else - just unlucky as he is plating up racehorses tomorrow so could not squeeze me in.
 
Arrgh bloody horse indeed! Hope that farrier is there bright and early for you tomorrow and he fixes R up quick.
