My field is wet but we saw one last week where the poor little pony was standing in a paddock with a swimming pool in the middle and about 3ft of mud round the edge for him to stand on. The sad thing is I know my little ponies would rather be out like that than stuck in a stable.

thats alright ours have been in for this week though did get 1 hour out the other day between showers!! and today it has rained non stopand now we have snow!!! it started about 4 and hasn't stoped yet even though it was so wet it has settled and is about 2/3 inches so far!! might not even get to the yard in the morning

like you say though bxxxxxy weather

weather is getting me down to, my poor boy been in all day and i have been sent to work at another branch an hour away from my usual so havent had time to ride or anything, he seems happy with the meals on wheels service that dispenses food into his stable every few hours! luckly got to ride this morning before the down pour, tomorrow meant to be ok but sunday crap again, hopefully summer will be nice this year , not the wet one we had last year, my horse hates puddles and it makes hacking a nightmare!

Totally sick of it, really pissing me off, wet and mud everywhere, first time in years my hands have actually been cold to the point of hurting, took 10 mins in the hot shower to get my hands to work properly, cars a mess, clothing a mess, dogs a mess.

One minute it's pissing it down, then it's frosty, then it's blowing a gale, now it's faffin sleeting

at least the nights are beginning to draw out now - the spring is on its way, keep your chin up. who am i kidding, i am trying to be positive but, like many of you i am sure, my out house is full of wet coats muddy boots and wet dogs drying themselves on my best bath towels! lol

I know, it's driving me nuts. My mare wants in at around lunch time, she's a fair weather horse and would much rather be in her stable.

She stands near the gate until either I can get down or someone takes pity and brings her in.

Not being able to ride her is driving me mad!

kaytdarling - Thanks for your efforts in trying to keep us cheery!

But I still want to cry everytime I go down to the ponies as they look so miserable and so do the fields!!!
