Was so looking forward to a nice long hack today, weather looked promising this morning at home - sunlight! blue-ish sky! - but the yard & surrounding area has been wreathed in mist & fog all day & steadily getting worse. Tried to get out but by the time we were tacked up you couldn't see 100 yards in front of you & would have been too dangerous to go.
Frustrating as my lad is getting fed up of the school so really needs a good hack out, not to mention the hillwork to build up his quarters (trying to strengthen him up as he's been having problems with locking stifles
). Can't hack during the week as I don't get to the yard till 7pm-ish.
Weather forecast for tomorrow not too good either - more fog predicted aaaarghh! Oh for spring to begin!
