Bloomin hunt!

The hunt a few days ago came tearing down the road right beside the horses field blowing their horns non stop and sending our horses absolutely loopy.
Blacky came out of it like this

It's very sore, and completely avoidable!
They know we are here, but they are complete idiots and we've had problems with them before. Surely it won't hurt to walk or even trot past us until the end of the road?

why don't you contact the hunt secretary and explain that you have talked to them before? I know its not the best solution but if they keep doing it you might have to think about keeping them in for half a day, at least until you know they have passed for good

it's very sore, it's a struggle to get the cream on it but she enjoyed the cuddles i gave her today

The huntsman lives up the lane from Mossburn, and we've always had problems with him, not just with the hunt. YO will let him know though. They are normally put in the big field, away from the road when there is a hunt but they never let us know there was a hunt at all, never mind that they were gonna go right past the road!

Aww no, that looks nasty!! I would ask hunt sec to send you a copy of meet card so you will always know when they are going to be nearby.

Poor Blacky. Definitely get a copy of the meet card so you know when they will be in the area then keep the horses in. We have to do that as Winnie is an ex hunt horse and would jump out the field if the hunt came past so she could join them!

Oooh nasty, think I would be a bit pissed off, best to find out when they hunt and keep in, it would be a problem for me though as mine doesnt do staying in.

don't know the situation, but if there was a lot of horn blowing, as you put it, it is possible, hounds were on a live scent and the huntsman was trying to act within the law and get them back: hence tearing down a road.
also if hounds were running into traffic they need to be stopped.

umm i'm not sure, but i doubt it as they were heading up the side road up the hill hill away from the road.
