my 21yr old ja mare who has a 5week old colt foal at foot decided to escape from her electric fence paddock into the big field! so herded her back into paddock (shes really bad to catch) only for her to jump out followed by foalie who cleared it with scope

... so changed the fence posts to the really big ones which are about 6ft high... and yes she jumped out again, although foalie managed to leap through it unharmed, so after hours of trying to catch mare and foal im now at home with soggy feet and legs (i had trainers and jeans on) oh the joys of horses

Hee hee! My old pony used to do that, its a right pain, especially with a foalie in tow!
ETS I got into ttouble when she was out with the cows at next doors farm and she jumped out and 2 heiffers followed her over a 4ft6 fence!
