Blooming weather and sod's law

Is it just me but the days i have to see family are lovely sunny winter days, days at work are bearable weather wise then today the next chance i get to go for a ride, it;s damp, grey, miserable. I'll still ride but how come i always miss the 'picture postcard' winter days with sun, frost etc...very frustrating!

The other day I was at work and the sun came out, it was gorgeous, I was all excited at the thought of a quick hack in the sunshine. Just a glimpse of the sun does wonders for your spirits. Sure enough come 2 o'clock when I finished it was grey and miserable again, typical!
