Ive tried a few calmers on my boy and find America Equine So Kalm Plus has made a difference. I have just seen Karma and it seems to have the same ingrediants in it, lasts longer and is cheaper. Does anyone know how the quantities of Magnesium and LTrypothan compare?

I'm not sure of the ingredients however I use eqine america's magna- calm on a daily basis and top up with blue chip calma on show days. It has transformmed my mare
 
I use the EA So Kalm plus too....find it brill. Bit pricey though.

Used Karma in the past- made not a jot of difference although that horse was very stressed on box rest....

Anyone tried TopSpec calmer? That has magnesium and L-tryptophan in too but its cheaper....was thinking of giving that one a try......
 
About 3 weeks ago I started using Feedmark Steady Up and it has worked miracles!!

My warmblood was very spooky and was more interested in everything else,than what he was supposed to be doing! I have struggling with him at competition, as he was napping and wouldn't jump!!

I took him to combined training on Saturday and he was fab, we did a dressage test outside, which I would never have been able to do & we won the showjumping section, first time we have got round the course without refusals/napping at jumps and being eliminated!

I know not all calmers work for all horses but I would definitely recommend it.. I think it has been on offer too on the Feedmark site, i bought one & got one free!

I agree different calmers work for different horses. Ive tried Steady Up and Top Spec but they didnt make a difference on my horse.
I was thinking of trying the Magnitude as its cheaper but Ive used magnesium based ones before with no effect so I think its the L Typtothan thats making the difference.
 
I've just bought some relax me. Read some good reviews online so thought it's worth a whirl! Plus found it really reasonable on ebay, £15 delivered! Some places it's nearly £30!

Will keep you up to date with how it goes, started the loading dose today! :)
 
Hi as promised an update. Horse been on relax me for getting on for 4 weeks and it's worked brilliantly! Really calm in stable and chilled out and very focussed in the school.

Would dfinately recommend! Just ordered my next tub, :)
