Prefer Topspec. But, depending on the amount of work your horse is doing, the cheaper alternatives can work just aswell. Depends what you want it for....?

Love it! Works far better for my lot than Top Spec has ever done, just wish it wasn't so dear!

I've used it as part of the regime to build up my lad & it has really worked well. It's expensive stuff but you feed such a small amount compared with most other feeds that in reality it's not that expensive.

As for Topspec & the others I've not used them, Blue Chip works for me so I'll continue using it.

I use it for my 20yr old cobx with plenty of good quality hay and a good coarse mix and he looks superb.

Lovely shiny coat (if you get the thick layer of mud off him!!)

and he has even started to calm down when out.

we use to use it on my mare when she was 4/5 and she was doing a lot of travelling and then we switched her to dynamic when she was diagnosed with artheritis but have since taken her off it as she was getting fat!
it didn't do much for sisters horse

my lad is 20 also and his coat, muscle tone and hooves are fantastic, and although BC is expensive, i worked out how much it would cost me daily and its about 50p - my horse is worth that to me

I have never used it either but my friend has used Bluechip and Topspec and Topspec seems to have kept the condition on far better.

But that could also been due to the fact that when they was on Bluechip they had just come off of really bad grazing and now they have had really good grazing all year.

I have only used the Blue Chp Dynamic but i did rate it. I have now moved over to Topspec as this was the best balancer for all my horses. But i wouldnt hesitate to swap back if i ever had problems.
