As in title, I'm considering putting my Connemara on this over the winter in addition to chaff, he is a good doer but dropped weight this year coming into spring and is starting to be worked harder. I would like him to develop more topline (obviously this is down to work but you need the calories there) and not hot up too much. He is currently at a weight I am happy with and can hot up on cereals and molasses- this is free of both but has anyone found it has hotted up their pony? I like the idea of no longer having to feed garlic, oil or vits and mins but no good if it turns my level headed pony into a fat, raving lunatic! Thanks.

I can not reccomend it enough! It has worked brilliantly putting condition on my horses in the past and hasn't ever hotted them up. The vitamins etc in it works so well that I have also known it to cure skin conditions etc that have gone on for years.

I have just changed my mare to it, we are on our first bag.

Previously she was on Baileys balancer, but I have changed to this as it has a higher selenium content, and some of the selenium deficiency symptoms sounded similar to my mare.

I noticed on the website yesterday there is a loyalty scheme to get a free bag every eight or so. I think that's pretty good :)

Was brilliant for my 35 year old. She was in very good condition for her age but she looked absolutely brilliant on blue chip. No one would ever believe me when I said how old she was.

I find it really good for my 2, they look great. I have my mini on lami-light too & that's also brill.

However, it does heat mine up - one slightly which I like and one quite badly. I originally had her on Blue Chip Pro as recommended by them but had to take her off it when she kicked out at a cyclist when he went past & was generally a loon. She's better on Original but still has a definite 'heating' effect.
