Has anyone else found it sent their horse nuts? I put my horse on it about 2 weeks ago cos he's lost a bit of weight and i've known horses that have really improved on it only today my horse seems a bit manic.

he is always a bit that way inclined but he's suddenly gone a bit over the top. there are other things it could be like he's also just come off antibiotics for a bacterial infection but i was just wondering if it could be the blue chip.

to be fair when i worked him he was quite good just really powerful again but getting to that point was the tricky part

I have always fed it, it really does put condition on.

I would be interested in any replies tho, I don't think it sends horses nuts, but I do have one anxious/excitable horse that I have to use a calmer on, you have got me thinking now!!

I don't know about Blue Chip now, but years ago, my mare was very poor and I put her on Blue Chip.

It did the job, a bit too well!!! She did go through a very sparky stage, but put it down to her feeling much better.

However, I won't use Blue Chip now, as after that no matter what you did she keeps her weight, very well, I mean an excellent good doer!! Unfortunately, that means she has had a wobble of laminitis, and is now treated like a laminitic forever!!!

I put this down to Blue Chip!! I think some horses it suits and some it doesn't

The previous horse i had was on blue chip and a bit nutty. Not all the time, just in spurts. Took her off the blue chip and she nutty spurts were gone. Have seen it happen to a few horses. I would only use it on laid back types these days.

Oh dear i have just been and purchased our first bag of blue chip original LOL! my instructor thought it wud help my TB put a bit of condition on

We have converted for the original to the dynamic which is for the fertility of our young boy and for one of our mares who has very poor cracked hoves, which have improved since using it.

Our rider also uses blue chip on her competition horses as it has a sligh calming effect on them!

I have used it in the past on my demented one....it calmed him down if anything.

Was thinking of using Pro now as he's an old chap

I have just started (about 3 weeks ago) on my gelding and it has done the same for me. Mine has become so much more chilled now he is on it
