Does anyone know what is the secretary's address for the Blue Chip schedule? I haven't qualified this year but thought i may pop along for the Open Warm Up classes on a couple of days.
I'm feeling VERY happy today, because i thought i wouldn't be able to take Bo (he was lame for the final Star qualifier
), but having received the schedule last night, it seems there are 'no qualification necessary' classes every day....so Bo can come along and keep Trikey company
I just need to confirm i can get into the hotel for the sunday night and then i'll get my entries in. Going to take Bo for the 1m warm-up class and Trike for the Novice Champ....
Just been reading the schedule in more detail and realised that the Novices get the rough end of the deal in some ways. All the other championship classes are 5cms higher than their first round qualifiers, but the Novice champs is 10cms higher
i noticed that....im not to sorry becuase hopefully it will stop it being such a rat race like it was to qualify...but in a way if its over three rounds starting at 1m does that mean that it could potentially go up to 120cm in the final round? or 110cm? i always think they build quiet strong up there...what u think?

Well, i guess in theory it *could* go 1.20m in the final round....but i would imagine that unless there are loads who make it that far, then it is more likely to stop around 1.15m
Our qualifier wasn't so much of a rat race though....only 7 DC's (and one on 0/3 time faults
) out of 63 starters ! It was a fairly strong 90cm though
I've never jumped there before so i can't comment on how they build i'm afraid....but being the Champs i would expect it to be full up
oh rite kool...wen i went in juniors year before last it was huuuuuge!! there was no treble clears in teh discovery!!! the one i went to their was like 22 clears!!!! lmao.....but i went to one at badgewroth for novice and their was only 3 dc's!!!!!! cz they hada water tray and all that (it was like a small disco in places) and there were 60 odd in it!!!! i hope it will only go to 110/115 judging that we only had to jump 90cm to Qual. lol what r u jumping.....?
I've just got the baby in the Elevator Novice. I hope it doesn't go 1.20m in the final round, as he's not ready for that yet....never been higher than a Disco JO with him
I'm going to take the more experienced horse for the warm-up class on day 1 though...he missed his chance to qualify for the Star as he was kicked two days before the qualifier
