Blue marks on hooves :/

Blue has developed a few small blue marks on his hooves, like bruises!!!! - mainly by his shoes but a few further up - any idea what could be causing this?? And should I worry?

(He has his shoes done every 6 weeks and the vet has recently just had a quick look at his feet too)

I noticed this on my mare a few months ago - my farrier said it was bruising and it has now grown out.

My horse has if too, I think it's very common in shod horses. But I stand to be corrected.

Have you considered a low grade laminitis, not to scare you, but I always look out for problems when there are changes in the hoof.

He has had it mildly before so I am paranoid in general about his weight!! So I don't think it could be cos the vet did check him when she was here recently, thank you though anyway xxx
