No, its not a wide and the plastic is thicker, my instructor gave us ours but I think you can get it in B&Q...I'll have a search and let you know in a bit

'tis electrical piping. Bright blue and normally about an inch in diameter (ish, maybe that's a bit generous)

Makes a fabulous thwacking noise when I slap my yearling with it

That might be it? But all I can find on internet is coils of it, so is that flexible. Because you don't want flexible pipe

Yes it does come in large coils.It is not flexible as such but will bend under pressure.Makes a really good niose if you helicopter it above your head.
