Have just finished my fish & chips and am nice and warm after being soaked today!

Had a stress free journey there due to Quarrybanks excellent directions. It was raining cats and dogs and quite windy and very cold so luckily had already got changed so just had to put stock hat and jacket on and get Dexter all tacked and booted up on lorry, got him off and took hm into the indoor warm up.

He warmed up very well but was dreading going out into the rain on the outdoor school!

Was only my 2nd test in a 20 X60 today and my 2nd elementary and this one had leg yield in
crazy.gif
so was a bit worried but he was super went really well in both tests depsite the driving rain!

He won the Novice 33 on 70%

and was 2nd in the Elem 43 with 66.20% and 1st had 67% so was chuffed to bits with him.

Just to make things even better the judge came and spoke to me after and said how he could do just pure dressage and if I can slow the pace down a bit (he wants to get on with the job a bit to much!!!) he could be wiping the board!! And I was against some nice warmblood horses!

So am very very pleased with my handsome boy today and am now DEFINITELY going to register BD in Dec!

That's brilliant! Hopefully makes up a bit for Spider being off and saying goodbye to Cruz. Looks like we'll all have to avoid you next season!

Couldnt believe it!

Oh well done you and Dexter - super result. BTW, Cruz went hunting yesterday (Rosie's Dad rode her cos she had to ride one for someone else) and he said she was super for such a young one - bit spooky but very well behaved for her age. He was well impressed.

Blooming well done!!!!! Fab scores as well!! Just goes to show you do not have to have a warmblood to win!
wink.gif
Just good ol' fashion correct schooling!!!!
smile.gif
So get yourself registered for BD straight away!!
