THANKYOU XXX

I have the cavallo boots and they are worth the money. Of course, I have to put them on my horse if he throws a shoe, and they stay on when he is running around. And they have lasted 3 yrs so far with no problems.

Have a look at the EasyCare website for a much bigger selection of boots. I've tried Marquis and didn't like them, Boa, Old Macs 1's and 2's and they are all great, haven't tried Cavallo but they always look a bit less substantial. Mine wear their boots a lot for hacking (they are all barefoot).

I have Cavallo boots for use when my horse looses a shoe.
I haven't had to use them much, but I've never needed to change my plans with them, they haven't rubbed and she seems quite happy with them.

Got boa and cavallo's and I have to say, I prefere the cavallo boots. Much easier to put on and the dial on the front of the boa sticks out inside a bit (god knows why they haven't sorted it yet - it shouldn't be hard!). Cavallo's have much less to rub on them. Held up well too - they're a year old with plenty of use and still going strong. The old macs are similar but haven't tried them as they don't fit my horses feet shape (or go big enough!)

All boots are pretty much the same price - you'll pay about #100 for a pair (why doesn't my pound sign work!?) except for the plain easyboots at #60. The shires easy boot are cheaper but fit less hoof shapes.

However they will last you at least a year, probably much more, so they're still much cheaper than a set of shoes - up her you'd only get one and a half sets for #100 nowadays

Thank god all mine are barefoot!

my boas have lasted 2 years so far, The dial hasnt rubbed at all, tho the gaiters designed to avoid any risk of rubbing were the only things that did rub! dont bother with those now. The boas are great, havent tried cavallos.

Lots cheaper than shoes....

I have boa boots, the newer version with holes so the water comes through if you ride through river. I have used it on my youngster before started shoeing her and they were great.
I have the size 3 for sale if you interested. They are less than 6 months old.

Thanks everyone, its for small pony thats had lami and dont want to nail shoes on , this has been realy helpful cheers.
