I need to find a decent boarding kennels to take my two JRT's for 3 nights in September. Unfortunatly my mother cant cope with the fact Pumpkin casts and short of covering her in clingfilm i doubt she will take them.
I found this place through a recomendation from work
http://www.crowbankkennels.co.uk/index.html which looked good but they are full on the days im looking for

I then found this one
http://www.completelycanine.co.uk/
and emailed them to enquire re price etc but wasnt sure when to woman emailed back to say they dont have kennels and runs and that the dogs sleep where ever they are used to at home. Cant imagine what her house is like

She also said it was £15 oer dog per night. I felt this was quite expensive?

So im back to the drawing board. ohh and also the fact i hadnt really planned the trip means they wont have had their kennel cough vacc for a full 14 days before they go. Do you think this will really matter? They will have had it 11 days IF i find somewhere.
Heres a few pics of them just to cheer you all up

I suppose the price is for the luxury of keeping your dog in a home environment instead of a kenneled, im cheaper......well for little dogs anyway

See id have no problem with my dogs being in with others, esp as they are really playful and would love it. I just wasnt sure about the sleeping arrangments? Mine sleep in crates but doubt they would settle if there was other dogs running around loose??

Well they are really good at catching flies/spiders/jenny long legs etc...Frogs the like to poke with their nose to make them jump and once they land poke them again....and again...and again

Rats in not so sure....they go into terrier mode when at the park and become deaf when on the trail of a rabbit.
Thay are really good at shaking a sock till its dead tho?

Sorry to butt in on this post but does anyone have any kennels/home boarders they can recommend in Surrey ( Chertsy area), we go away on our honeymoon next May and want to find a special place for our 18month old JRT X.
