Body protector recommendations please?

Sorry if this thread has been up in the past, but can anyone recommend me a body protector that isn't priced through the roof. I am looking for something reasonably lightweight and not so long in the back that I can feel it when I am sitting on it. To be used for hacking and some jumping....I am moving yards to one where the hacking is out of this world with lots of grassy canters, so am just taking precautions should one of the little darlings decide to do a spook! I like the look of the Racesafe ones, but they also look to be really long in the back. Thanks in anticipation.
 
Love the airowear one myself, even better is that one of the kids sizes fitted perfectly so was even cheaper! They do different lengths so you should find something that suits.
Different brands suit different people so might be best to go somewhere with a few different brands then they can fit you with the best one for your shape.

Agree, I have an airowear zippa and love it, plus I'm a childs size so much cheaper.

Also agree with going to a shop that has a wide range of BP's to try on.

If £ wasn't an issue I's go for a kan.
 
racesafe 2000 all the way! best 120 quid I have spent by far. I hate body protectors, but after nearly doing some serious damage to my spine, I bought one, and honestly, I have never known any body protector to be so comfy! I forget its there
 
rodney powell i think its a pro 2 or something like thati have a short back and long legs so nothing else fits me but if you live near a horsatack they will fit you one put you on thier test horse thingy and you can see how good it feels when your in the saddle also rodney poell is the only company that will cut your body protector to the corect size for you and the fitters will tell you how much it needs cutting and send it off for you :)
