Having just read the 'Do you wear a body protector hacking' thread it has made me think. I personally detest body protectors and find them restrictive and uncomfortable but they are undeniably a good idea in principle. I have always found that I am more likely to come off in one though as I am so tense and uncomfortable. It has however been a few years since I have worn one as I am no longer at college and no longer have to and I was wondering if they had come on a bit.

So any recommendations for a BP for a short backed, large busted woman? It would need to leave breathing room and be short enough not to catch on the saddle, preferably fairly snug fitting elsewhere though and flexible and light (in physical weight) if possible.

i have a rodney powell and love mine - have ridden in a bp for about 15 years though due to a fall when i was young and parents panicking :p
I would say though, i'm rather flat chested and tall so probably wouldn't advise you to get a RP of them all. There are many that have peaks in the front to allow for women with chests.

Racesafe! I've got the RS2000 one, I think it's now the 2010. They are made up of small squares, so are extremely flexible. You won't know you're wearing it, as they are like gilets. And I can personally vouch for them being excellent for the larger bust!

My new Woof Wear Contour BP arrived today. I was suprised at how flexible it is compared to the older styles and it was a bargain at £41!!
