hi guys after my last fall my family are making me buy a body protector ive never bought or worn one before (yes i am very very naughty) ive found a bargain (brand new) one on ebay the sizing is adults large is 39inch to 41 inch im a 36D in bras and my friend said the 36 means inches? but im just not sure and dont have a tape measure handy also dont have the funds to go buy direct from tack shop as very skint after having 2 weeks off from work with internal bruising from the fall thank you for your help in advance x

Hi.. I wear one always now for the same reason. I fell off and broke my collar bone and traumatised my boys and OH. I'd bought the damn thing the day before but who needs a BP doing dressage practice .. Yes well! :o

Can you check the sizing guide on the Internet for the make you are looking at.? Most stockists will give a sizing guide. Or can the seller give you any advice on what size it's owner is?
The relevant measurements are back of nect to lower back. If too long it'll touch the saddle and get pushed up...insert choking sounds :) if too short it won't protect your pelvis correctly. And of course chest measurement.

I've got an Airowear Outlyne and it's really comfy ..also reassuring in case of mishaps  feels really odd riding without mine now.

Agree that you need to try on. I measured myself before hand and looked on the websites to see what size I would be in both the race safe and outlyne. I got to the shop and the race safe was spot do but i had to go up two sizes in the outlyne!
