I have a Racesafe body protector and it does say on it that you can handwash them, but I was wondering if anyone has put theirs in a washing machine - obviously on a 30 degree wash and short cycle. I am close to trying as I've had it years and it needs a GOOD wash(!!), however, they are so expensive that I'm worried about trying it, it is of the kind that does not have a removeable covering. Anyone have any thoughts??
