Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a body protector, when I tried it on it didn't fit right on the shoulders but I was told with a bit of wear the shoulder straps would sink down. Needless to say they didn't and I had to take it back, no point having a body protector that wouldn't protect me, right.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of some good body protectors that are made for short torso's. I'm 5"11 but unfortunately all leg!

I also have a race safe , i initially had the standard length , but i changed it to the shorter length as it kept hitting the back of the saddle , they are really comfy ( as far as they can be ) as it has more sections to it , if i'm making any sense , google race safe and you'll see what I mean...

As above replies - you can't beat a How's Racesafe and they come in either standard back or short back, and if necessary made to measure

Rodney Powell make them all made-to-measure (you need to get one fitted at a saddlery). When I got mine, my torso length didn't really fit into any of the categories so they made it to the correct length for me with no extra charge :)

Love the race safe ones (: I actually have a long one, I think they all come up a little short maybe?! Because I don't think I have a long torso, but Racesafe are great!
