Can anyone recommend a comfortable body protector for someone who is not a skinny minnie that doesn't make you look like michelin man!!!

Airowear body protectors are fab. Not worn one for 10yrs as they were always so uncomfortable but these are really comfy and have memory foam so they mould to your exact shape. You can get different back, front, waist, and chest sizes and mix and match. Make sure you get it fitted by someone who knows what they are doing as we see lots of badly fitting protectors that will do more harm than good.

Another vote of Racesafe. But as henryhorn said, they are pricey. Worth the money though

Airowear's cheaper than Racesafe if you can't justify race safe prices - I couldn't for jumping mini fences/general riding, especially given it'll be old and I'll need a new one before I jmp anything of any size.

My airowear zippa's really nice, lots of sizes, fits me well (12-14, 32F/G...) which was a pleasant surprise. Would have gone for the Racesafe if the Airowear hadn't fit me.

Don't like the RP one - one of my friends has one and it is a nightmare to do up even though it fits when on - the zip has to get over a ridge in the material.
