Body Protectors

Hi
I am about to buy a new body protector, the first for many years I must admit! What would everyone recommend? I am quite tall a slim, so one to fit that shape would be good. Dont really know where to start so any helpful advice would be great.

Ive had my Rodney Powell one for ever and love it. Its light and small (as in not bulky) Once youve sweated abit it moulds to you and you forget youve got it on.

You state that you are tall and slim - lucky!!!

So you should fit most types, personally I like the Racesafe RS2000 and because I'm top heavy the new Kan Teq one!!! (Still excited about this one and it fits me great!) You could even go to the cheaper end of the market but still Beta level3 like the Gallop ones?

You really need to go try some on and find someone to fit you that has done the Beta Training course for fitting Body protectors. When you buy ensure that the body protector has the Beta Purple Label on it (this is for approval to the standard of Level3)

Whatever you do, I think its worth buying a new one as you never can be sure that it hasn't had some form of impact that could infringe its protection should you have a fall in it.
