Having realised at the very last minute that my body protector is not up to the current BE 2009 standard, I need a new body protector before |Frenchfield at the weekend. Which body protectors do people recommend? My current one is an airowear but I find it bulky and uncomfortable, especially underneath my air jacket. I will obviously go and get one fitted properly, I'd just like an idea of which ones I'd like to try.
Also, what are the main differences (other than price) of these two racesafe ones?

I’ve got a champion ti22 - it cost far less than a racesafe for a very similar product, it’s really comfortable and easy to ride in

I thought they were much if a muchness until I bought a Provent. It is amazing! The first one I have had that I can really forget. Better than a Racesafe 2010, Outlyne, and Bailios.

Very generous on size, Although that is the reason I bought it, I bought a large, could have had a Medium, and in others I was bigger than XL!

I had a racesafe 2000 which is pretty much the same as the newer racesafe and found it much more comfortable than others I'd tried. I changed it a couple of years ago to the racesafe Provent and found it even better. I think the main difference between the two is the provent has ventilation holes in the foam and the outside is covered with a type of mesh fabric. I do think it helps me keep a bit cooler.

I didn't try any others when I decided to get the provent, so probably not up to date on other newer ones.
